Starting on January 1, 2025, there is an additional tax to be paid in British Columbia if you sell a property in less than 730 days (two years). This new tax is 20% over and above the Federal Property Flipping Tax. The BC Home Flipping Tax decreases to 0% over the 730 days and some exemptions apply.
