Aaron joined the Real Estate industry in 2003. His success is largely due to his previous marketing experience, holding positions such as Director of Business Promotions for Berlitz Languages in Tokyo, Regional Director of Holiday Inn Worldwide/Intercontinental Hotels Group, and as a Certified Hotel Administrator with the American Hotel/Motel Association.
These experiences have given rise to Aaron’s global approach to marketing, ensuring that every opportunity to reach the market is highly effective. As principal of THE NICKLEN GROUP, Aaron’s skill in creating effective marketing strategies is surpassed by his ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with his clients. This has resulted in the team being awarded Top Producing Team for Coast Realty, 2010 to 2014; the Lifetime Member Award of the Chairman’s Club with Royal LePage consecutively, 2015 to 2025; the Lifetime Member Award of Excellence; and the Top Ten Award (Team in BC) in 2017, 2019, and 2024–2025 as well as being given the Realtors Care Award in 2014.
Aaron was raised on Baffin Island, Nunavut, and he has lived in Italy, Japan, Vancouver and Halifax. Aaron’s education includes the International Baccalaureate degree, a B.A. in Economics and Political Science and a myriad of Real Estate courses from the Sauder School of Business at UBC, keeping him current in the ever-changing world of Real Estate.
